Ms. Emily - Teacher

My name is Emily Wetherby, and I am returning as a teacher this year after taking a couple of years off to be with my family. I was previously a teacher here at Discovery Lane for 5 years and I am very excited to be back and in the classroom with your sweet children!

I have been married for 15 years and have two kids. I have a son that is 14 years old and entering high school this year, and a daughter that is 12 years old and entering 7th grade. We are a big soccer family and are season ticket holders to Nashville Soccer Club, and my son plays for a local club soccer team. My daughter rides horses so I am also out at the barn a lot!

In what little free time I have (haha!) I enjoy doing yoga, reading, and spending time
outdoors as much as possible. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
from the University of Southern Mississippi. My husband and I met in Mississippi and my children were born there, but we have been living in Spring Hill since 2013. We absolutely love it here!
